Three analysts have hinted that the 13-inch model of the new MacBook Pro of Apple will be released within a few months time following the introduction of the 15-inch model of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

According to KGI analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, production of the 13-inch model of the new device of Apple may start within three months time. This may be good news for Apple enthusiasts who are find the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display a bit too bulky for comfort.

The 13-inch model of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display was supposed to be introduced together with the 15-inch model of the new Apple notebook however things did not go on as planned by the company.

Jeff Lin and Richard Shim of NPD DisplaySearch have a similar sentiment as they indicated that preparations were being made for the production of the 13-inch Retina Display panels. The production of the panel for the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display will begin by the third quarter of the year.

The first quarter report of NPD revealed that preparations for the production of the 13.3-inch panel that has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 for the third quarter were being made. Sources within the ODM supply chain had hinted that the panel will be used on a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display that will be introduced before the end of the year.

It may be expected that the price tag of the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display to be lower compared to the 15-inch model of the device. The 15-inch model of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display has a price tag starting at $2,199 and goes up to around $3,750 with all of the add-ons and features. In comparison the 15-inch MacBook Pro without the Retina Display has a price tag that starts at around $1,799 although its hardware has some significant differences.

The new MacBook Pro with Retina Display is currently not easy to find since a number of Apple retail outlets do not have the device on its inventory.
