It appears that Asus has pulled all the stops with the latest model of the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity. The high-end tablet will reportedly feature the Tegra 4 processor from Nvidia as well as a high-resolution display screen that will attract the attention of tablet enthusiasts, be it Android or iOS.

The upcoming ten-inch tablet will have a display resolution of 2560 by 1600 and will feature the 1.9GHz Tegra 4 processor from Nvidia together with a 72-core GeForce GPU. Other features of the device include a 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 5MP rear-facing camera, and 1.2MP front-facing camera. It will also offer Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.

Potential buyers of the new Asus Transformer Pad Infinity may also purchase the keyboard dock that has a multi-touch touchpad along with an SDXC memory card slot and USB 3.0 port. This is one tablet that I would not mind saving up for.

The new Asus Transformer Pad Infinity will have a similar design and finish as the Asus TransformerPad Infinity TF700. The new processor of the latest model will address some of the flaws of its predecessor. While the high-resolution display only has a few rivals in the market.

The performance of the tablet along with its 300PPI is expected to compete with the Google Nexus 10, which is currently among the best ten-incher in the market today.

Reports have hinted at the possibility that the latest Asus tablet will have a price tag of around $400, which is similar to the price of the Google Nexus 10. However, it should be noted that the $400 price tag of the Google tablet is for the 16GB model.  In addition to the bigger internal storage, the Asus tablet will also have an edge on CPU performance and the optional keyboard dock.

The scheduled release of the new Asus Transformer Pad Infinity has yet to be announced by the device manufacturer, although it is expected to be released into the market soon enough.
