Fifty Million Downloads for Angry Birds Space

Following the release of the latest version of the popular game, Angry Birds Space, Rovio revealed that it is the fastest-growing mobile game that was released into the market. The number of downloads for the game has reportedly surpassed the records made by the previous versions of the game.

The success of the Angry Birds franchise with its most recent version, Angry Birds Space, has impressed a number of industry watchers.

Rovio announced recently that the Angry Birds Space has topped the App Store of Apple as it reportedly reached fifty million downloads in the first 35 days it became available in the market. This feat by the game has allowed it to go past the records that were set by the earlier versions of the game.

The company extended its gratitude to the fans of the Angry Birds franchise following this most recent accomplishment by Angry Birds Space. The company reportedly indicated that inasmuch as the figures show how popular the game is, the main goal of the company is to continue offering fun experiences for the fans of the game.

Last month saw the release of Angry Birds Space which brought the game to new heights . . . uhm  . . . infinity and beyond. The same slingshot-inspired game was brought out into space by the company which added new elements that can only be found in space, gravitational pull.

Sixty levels were available when Angry Birds was initially launched although ten new levels were added by the company for both the iOS and the Android versions.

Angry Birds Space is also available to Mac and PC users.
