The Jelly
Bean seems to be going to a number of Galaxy devices and the latest Samsung
smartphone to receive the Android 4.1 update is the Samsung Galaxy S3.
The latest
firmware has already passed internal testing and is already being prepared for
release according to a report from the mobile blog, SamMobile. The Android 4.1
update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released once approval is given by
Google. In addition to the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Android 4.1 update for the
Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Note is already being developed by the company.
A value pack
option may also be offered by Samsung in case any problems are encountered by
the devices once the update is prepared.
Although it
should be taken into consideration that Samsung has yet to announce the
availability of the Android 4.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S3, it gives
users of the device something to look forward to. However US users have also to
keep in mind that the different US-based network providers will make the final
announcements on the availability of the update.
The upcoming
release of the Google Android 4.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 comes as more
and more Android-powered devices continue to receive the previous version of
the mobile platform, the Ice Cream Sandwich Android. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is
the latest flagship smartphone of the South Korean company, which is the
successor to the widely popular Galaxy S2.
