The Nokia Lumia 520 and the Lumia 720 may be on its way to the launch pad after a regulatory document emerged in Indonesia.
The two new Lumia devices from Nokia were listed on a regulatory filing that was found by PhoneArena.com. The Nokia Lumia 520 is expected to succeed the Nokia Lumia 510. On the other hand, the Nokia Lumia 720 is the successor of the Lumia 710. The inclusion of the two devices on the list shows that they were already given a certification in Indonesia.
No specific details were revealed in the regulatory document although a number of rumors have started to emerge recently. Reports have indicated that the Nokia Lumia 520 will feature a four-inch touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, and an internal storage of 8GB. It will also feature a microSD memory card slot. The Nokia Lumia 520 is also expected to feature a 5MP camera and will use the Windows Phone 8 OS.
The Nokia Lumia 720 will be a high-end smartphone that comes with a 4.2-inch ClearBlack display screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, and an internal storage of 8GB. It will also have a microSD memory card slot and will use the Windows Phone 8 OS like the Nokia Lumia 520.
The report did not reveal the source of the information, which means that the supposed features of the two devices may be taken with a grain of salt. However, more information may be released by Nokia during the Mobile World Congress where the company is expected to unveil its latest entries into its Lumia device lineup.
No statements were released by the spokesman from Nokia in connection to the reports about the Nokia Lumia 520 and the Nokia Lumia 720.
