It appears another Galaxy device is set to be released by Samsung through AT&T, and it’s not a smartphone or a tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Camera is set to be offered through AT&T by November 16, Friday at a price tag of around $500.

The device is a 4G-linked high-performance camera that uses the latest Android OS from Google, the Jelly Bean Android OS. It will also use the mobile internet network of AT&T although the Samsung Galaxy Camera can reportedly be purchased even without the data plan from the mobile network provider.

Users who wish to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Camera with the data plan have a selection of data plans that start at $10 for each month. The storage will dictate the price of the data plan that users can sign up for.

The device is a point-and-shoot device that has an intuitive UI and has the capability of accessing the Google Play store for other Android apps.

The mobile network provider had announced last month that the Samsung Galaxy Camera will be available on its product lineup although it did not reveal the price tag of the device. The device features a 4.8-inch Super Clear HD LCD display screen, 1.4GHz processor, 21x optical zoom, and 16MP rear-illuminated CMOS sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy Camera also offers an Expert Mode where users will be able to control the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed of the device. For amateur photo enthusiasts, they can use the Smart Mode, which gives them the tools to take pictures like a pro.

In addition to the camera features, the Samsung Galaxy Camera also gives users the capability of sharing images through cloud services or social networks. They will also be able to send images and videos to other Galaxy devices. Users who will not sign up for a data plan will not have to worry about sending their images wirelessly since the Samsung Galaxy Camera features an integrated Wi-Fi capability, although they will have to find a hot spot to be able to use this feature.

AT&T is also offered $100 discount to purchase a Samsung-lined device for every purchase of an AT&T smartphone. This rebate can be used to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Camera.
