An
improvement in the delivery schedules of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display
was noted recently although it still takes a few weeks for the next-generation
device from Apple to reach the user.
The Apple
Store indicated that the waiting time for the high-resolution device is around
three weeks, which is a significant improvement from the one-month delivery
schedule of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display following its release into the
market last month.
The
improvement in the delivery schedule of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display is
applicable to North American orders as well as some markets in Europe and the
Asia-Pacific region.
The
inventory of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display ran out a few days after it
was introduced into the market last June. Two models of the device were listed
on the online store of Apple and the waiting time was at around one month
during this time while the older models of the device were still available.
A number of
users have indicated that their MacBook Pro with Retina Display units have yet
to arrive. This comes as the initial version of the Tweetbot Twitter app that
supports the MacBook Pro with Retina Display was released by Tapbots.
The company
revealed that a number of users were still waiting for their MacBook Pro with
Retina Display units and a number of hitches may be noted.
The basic
MacBook Pro with Retina Display featuring a 2.3GHz i7 quad-core processor, 8GB
RAM and a flash storage of 256GB has a price tag of $2,199. The 2.6GHz model of
the device with a flash storage of 512GB is priced at $2,799.
