Upcoming Acer Iconia Tab A210 Listed On FCC Website

The ten-inch Acer Iconia Tab A210 was initially introduced at during the Computex event and recent reports have indicated that the upcoming tablet is already listed on the website of the FCC. This means that the release of the upcoming tablet may already be on its way.

The Acer Iconia Tab A210 will supposedly take up the middle categories of the Iconia lineup of Acer. The upcoming device will have a 10.1-inch screen display that has a resolution of 1280 by 800 and will use the quad-core Tegra 3 processor from Nvidia. Two storage options will be available for potential users of the Acer Iconia Tab A210, an 8GB model and a 16GB model.

Other features of the Acer Iconia Tab A210 include a 1GB RAM, front-facing camera, microSD memory card slot, and a USB 2.0 port. The upcoming device will use the Android 4.0 OS from Google.

In addition to the Acer Iconia Tab A210, the other devices in the lineup include the Iconia Tab A700, which features a display that has a resolution of 1920 by 1200, which is reportedly the highest among all Android-powered tablets. The Iconia Tab A510 offers similar features as the Acer Iconia Tab A210 although its camera has a higher resolution as well a s number of other features not found on the upcoming tablet.

With the $450 price tag of the Iconia Tab A700, some industry watchers are waiting for the announcement of the official price tag of the upcoming Acer Iconia Tab A210. It is expected to be cheaper compared to the high-resolution tablet although it remains to be seen how low the price can go.
