The big
brother of the rather successful Samsung smartphone/tablet hybrid, the SamsungGalaxy Note 10.1, is expected to be unveiled by the South Korean company before
the end of the month and it will not only come with a bigger display screen but
a better processor as well.
The upcoming
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is expected to be unveiled by Samsung by August 29 and
will feature a quad-core 1.4GHz processor. Mysterious invites were initially
released by the South Korean company for an event that is scheduled to be held on
August 29 in Berlin. However Samsung reportedly revealed through Reuters that
it will introduce the next model of the Samsung Galaxy Note, which has taken
away the mystery behind the cryptic invitations.
Earlier
reports had indicated that the company is set to release a new model for the
smartphone/tablet hybrid even as it remains uncertain how the upcoming device
will look like.
The upcoming
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 was initially unveiled during the Mobile World
Congress last February and it featured a dual-core 1.4GHz processor. However
some reports have speculated on the possibility that the upcoming Samsung
Galaxy Note 10.1 will feature a 1.6GHz processor although it remains to be
seen. It also remains uncertain if the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will
use the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 or the latest Jelly Bean Android 4.1 OS.
The display
screen of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is expected to have a 1280 x
800 resolution and will have three storage options, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The
internal storage of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is expandable through
a microSD memory card. The upcoming device will also feature a 2GB RAM and will
feature a five-megapixel and two-megapixel camera.
The upcoming
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will reportedly feature three connectivity options, a
Wi-Fi only model, a Wi-Fi/HSPA+ model and a Wi-Fi/LTE model. Only the Wi-Fi
only and the Wi-Fi/HSPA+ models will be available on the launch date of the
device.
Among the
first markets where the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will become available in are
the United States, the UK, Germany, and South Korea.
