Samsung
rumors are starting emerge once again as reports have hinted at the possibility
that the South Korean company will be released two large-screen smartphones
that will form part of the Samsung Galaxy Mega product lineup.
The two new
smartphones from Samsung will reportedly have a screen size of 5.8 inches and
6.3 inches. The Samsung Galaxy Mega product lineup will reportedly feature the
TouchWiz Nature interface of Samsung together with the Jelly Bean Android OS.
The smartphones will enter the midrange Android smartphone market.
The 5.8-inch
Samsung Galaxy Mega or the GT-i9152 will reportedly offer a 5.8-inch qHD LCD
screen display, dual-core 1.4GHz processor, and an eight-megapixel camera at
the back. It will also feature a 2,600 mAh battery.
The chassis
of the upcoming large-screen smartphone will reportedly be only 10 millimeters.
The size of the smartphone will also be a little bigger than the Samsung GalaxyNote 2. It may also be offered in two
variations, a single-SIM and a dual-SIM or the Duos model.
On the other
hand, rumors have also hinted at the possibility that the 6.3-inch Samsung
Galaxy Mega smartphone will feature a 6.3-inch HD screen display, dual-core
Exynos processor, eight-megapixel camera at the back, and a two-megapixel
camera in front.
Reports have
also pointed at a mid-June launch of the 5.8-inch model of the Samsung Galaxy Mega
smartphone while the 6.3-inch smartphone will be unveiled a couple of weeks
after.
