Looking for
a great gift for an avid reader for Christmas? How about the Nook Simple Touch?
Barnes & Noble recently reduced the price of its e-ink reader by $20 and is
currently being sold at $79.
The Nook
Simple Touch may not be a fill-blown tablet but a number of consumers prefer
its backlit display over e-readers offered by other manufacturers. The Barnes
& Noble e-reader offers better readability when it is used outdoors compared
to other similar devices.
In
comparison to the Nook Simple Touch, the cheapest Amazon Kindle Fire is price
at around $160. The e-reader is definitely a good gift choice to avid readers.
The Nook
Simple Touch received positive reviews among industry watchers and it is
considered an advanced model compared to previous models of the device.
If you want
to save more, you can try to purchase refurbished models of the Nook Simple
Touch, which is priced at around $50 over at Walmart, although it appears to
have been sold out. The price of the e-reader was reduced to $60 during the
Black Friday sale by Barnes & Noble.
The Nook
Simple Touch is available through the retail outlets of Barnes & Noble as
well as retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
