Reports
about the iPad mini have started to increase recently and the latest report has
hinted at the possibility that the upcoming smaller version of the iPad may be
manufactured in Brazil.
Citing
unnamed source, Macotaka, a Japanese tech site, hinted at the possibility that
the reported iPad mini may be produced at the Apple facility located in Brazil.
Although the iPad mini may be produced in Brazil, product testing will be
conducted in China.
Productionof the iPad mini is set to start by September and the upcoming device will be
available in the market by October. A 3G model of the upcoming device will also
be made available by the company.
Although the
reported iPad mini will reportedly have a similar height as the Google Nexus 7
tablet, it will be a bit wider. The smaller version of the iPad of Apple will
also be slimmer compared to all Android-powered tablets that are currently
available in the market.
It remains
uncertain if the upcoming device will feature the retina display of the new
iPad although earlier reports have hinted at the possibility that the upcoming
device will not come with this feature. Although recent reports on the possible
features of the reported iPad mini remain unconfirmed, they appear to be
consistent with earlier reports on the possible features of the upcoming
device.
The lower
specifications of the reported iPad mini will reportedly allow the device to compete
with the Amazon Kindle Fire and the Google Nexus 7 tablet.
Reports have
also hinted that the suppliers of Apple in Asia are already preparing for the
production of the iPad mini.
It can be
recalled that the late Steve Jobs had indicated that the size of the current
iPad is the best size for tablet devices since a smaller size will render the
device unusable. However the increasing reports of the upcoming iPad mini of
Apple have give in indications that the company may not have the same point of
view as the late founder of the company.
Reports have
also hinted that the suppliers of Apple in Asia are already preparing for the
production of the iPad mini.
