It appears that evleaks is at it again and this time the subject of the leak is the reported HTC One Mini 2. The serial tech leaker recently leaked an image of the phone. The leaked image showed that it will come in three different colors, grey, silver and grey. These are the same colors used on the bigger-sized M8.

The leaked image also indicated that the upcoming device will not feature the dual camera technology used on the M8. The image also appears to confirm earlier reports that the smartphone will use a 13MP camera instead of the 4MP Ultrapixel camera used for its bigger brother.

The image gives an indication that the upcoming device will feature a single camera, which is one of the sacrifices of having a smaller size. Using a different camera is also practical since a secondary camera is used to complement the Ultrapixel camera for additional depth information.

It appears that it will be a busy month for HTC as it will reportedly launch its long-rumored Facebook Phone and the latest model of their flagship phone, the HTC One.

Although the supposed Facebook Phone of HTC will probably remain what it has been for the past few months, a rumor, AT&T has announced that the HTC One, with its 4.7-inch screen display, will become a part of its lineup by April 19. It will reportedly be offered at around $200 and pre-orders will be accepted by the mobile service provider soon.

The flagship smartphone of HTC will be available in 32GB and 64GB models. While other mobile service providers have indicated that they will support the smartphone, the 64GB model will be exclusively distributed by AT&T.

The standard model of the HTC One will cost $50 lesser than the Samsung Galaxy S4, which will also be offered by AT&T by April 16. The HTC smartphone will also have the same price as the basic model of the Apple iPhone 5.

However it will not feature the 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor of the HTC One S, instead the upcoming HTC Ville C will have the 1,2GHz Snapdragon S3 processor from Qualcomm.

The upcoming HTC Ville C will feature the Android 4.0 OS together with the HTC Sense 4.5 custom user interface. In contrast, HTC introduced the HTC Sense 4.0 custom UI when the One series was announced last February.

The features on the upcoming HTC Ville C brings to mind the decision of HTC in releasing a number of handsets that have a similar design last year.

Some observers have indicated that it may work to the advantage of HTC to have a number of different designs for its handsets but it may become a disadvantage if it has more designs that the consumer market can handle.
